In a mere decade, Congregation Yagdil Torah, commonly known as the East Boca Kehilla, emerged from the efforts of merely three families and blossomed into a dynamic and forward-thinking Torah community. Presently, this congregation comprises nearly fifty families, predominantly recent arrivals with a multitude of children who enrich the local yeshiva, Torah Academy. Spearheaded by the vibrant leadership of Rabbi Noach Light, the community exudes a warm and lively aura, aiming to foster an atmosphere of spiritual growth where Torah study takes center stage and individuals of diverse backgrounds can find solace. Nestled in a tranquil residential neighborhood, a mere mile and a half away from the ocean, they reside in an idyllic locale. Delving beyond daily learning opportunities, Rabbi Light captivates participants with thought-provoking weekly shiurim, delving into the intricacies of Gemara, Halacha, Tanach, and contemporary Hashkafic subjects. Furthermore, engaging and practical groups focusing on marriage, Mussar, and Tefilla contribute to the enriching experience. Standout programs include the enticing “Sunday Morning Shiur & Breakfast Bonanza,” the Monday night in-depth Gemara shiur, the Thursday Night Mishmar & Chulent gathering, the Shabbos Morning Pre-Shacharis Learning session, and the post-Shabbos Kiddush Women’s Shiur, all facilitated by Rabbi Light.
