For many years, Rabbi Zalman Bukiet of Chabad of West Boca was located just a short distance away, almost opposite Century Village of Boca. However, he has now moved to a stunning new building and is the leader of the sole Orthodox synagogue positioned west of Route 441. This road, more commonly known as State Route 7, separates what was once undeveloped, swampy land to the west, from the first developed areas of Boca to the east, which lie along the Atlantic Ocean.
The congregation of Chabad of West Boca consists of approximately 600 members, some of whom moved to the area while others became more devoutly religious since arriving, with the guidance of Rabbi Bukiet and Rebbetzin Chani Bukiet.
